Summary:

Under minimal supervision, provides sales and administrative support to the Regional Sales Manager and assigned Business Development Executives. The Business Development Assistant will be responsible for keeping things organized for a super busy team. Someone who excels in a fast-paced environment would be set up for success in this role. This person will manage the regional sales managers calendar and travel arrangements, the teams’ expense reports, and scheduling of team meetings on and off site along with helping the operations with administrative needs as they arise. This person will also maintain our Strategic Relationship System (SRS) for the team.

Schedule & Location:

This is a non-exempt, office-based position in Atlanta, GA. This position is full-time 37.5 hours per week and offers flexible start and stop times and opportunities for remote work based on business needs and manager approval. The first one to two months will be 100% on-site for training and onboarding purposes.


  • Provides administrative assistance to the sales staff for scheduling appointments/meetings, making travel arrangements and processing expense reports.
  • Provides assistance to the assigned sales staff (approximately 6-7 employees) to ensure SRS is kept current with accurate data and recent calling activities.
  • Prepare ad hoc SRS management reports as required by the Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Executives.
  • Provide technical knowledge and oversight on SRS in support of the Business Enablement Specialists working with the team.
  • Assist the sales staff with prospect reservations and releases by adhering to the Reservation Guidelines.
  • Proofreads outgoing correspondence for the team for grammatical accuracy and distributes according to the guidelines.
  • Assists with compiling information for meetings.
  • Provides assistance to the Regional Sales Manager in preparation of performance management reports, Annual Sales Business Plans and expense budgets. Anticipates ways in which manager’s time may be saved.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Highly Preferred Education:

  • College education and/or degree

Required Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of administrative /secretarial experience supporting a manager and team

Required Skills:

  • Technical ability and willingness to learn SRS (strategic relationship system)
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills

The hiring range for this position is $28.41 per hour - $40.87 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
