Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
This position is an intermediate level position requiring basic, but developing; technical, evaluative, and consulting skills.
The position requires the individual to meet National Board In-Service commission qualification requirements Rules for Commissioned Inspectors (RCI-1 NB-263, National Board In-Service Inspector Training Program (NB-380), and meet state/provincial certification requirements
The Jurisdictional Consultant II position requires a verified competency as a Jurisdictional Consultant (Level 1) that meets or exceeds expectations, or requires substantiated prior employment qualifications and experience demonstrating an equivalent level of competency. Two years or more of field experience inspecting pressure equipment is required. Experience shall include boiler and pressure vessel operation, construction, inspection, related mechanical and electrical equipment, understanding of management systems, and understanding of appropriate nondestructive methods and results.
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will obtain the experience and training necessary to be qualified to review routine repairs in accordance with the NBIC and FMIC requirements.
