This position is based in Johnston, RI and follows a hybrid work model. On-site requirements in our office in Johnston, RI is 3 days one week, 2 days the next. Anchor days, weekly, are Mondays and Tuesdays. Potentially some travel for training or an occasional audit; 2-3 max per year, usually within North America.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine audit test work following an audit program prepared by a more senior internal auditor, audit supervisor or manager. The work is expected to be:
- Delivered on a timely basis.
- Reviewed to ensure work performed meets audit objectives.
- Results interpreted to determine exceptions and exceptions communicated to the next level promptly.
Assist with updates to system and process documentation with attention to detail and consistency with observed practices.
Prepare detailed schedules as required to support the audit process and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Another business degree in combination with strong work experience will be considered. Working towards or willing to commence study for a professional designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CIA).
- 0-2 years internal or external audit experience is required.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
The hiring range for this position is $61,900-88,900 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
