Responsibilities:
The Infrastructure and Cloud Services Group is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the infrastructure and cloud services that support the organization’s business objectives. This includes the development of cloud-based solutions, the deployment of new technologies, and the optimization of existing on prem infrastructure. The team is also responsible for the security and compliance of the organization infrastructure and cloud services.
The Infrastructure Engineering DevOps Co-op will be responsible for developing and maintaining the hybrid datacenter environment. This includes designing, deploying, and managing the infrastructure, applications, and services that make up the hybrid datacenter. The Co-Op will also be responsible for automating processes and developing scripts to improve the efficiency of the hybrid datacenter.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the DevOps field. They should also have experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Qualifications:
- Hard skills: education, previous job experience, certifications and technical skills required.
- Enrolled in Computer Science or related degree program
- Knowledge of Infrastructure, Operating systems, Databases, and basic knowledge of network concepts.
- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages
- Knowledge and/or awareness of Agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
- Must be comfortable working across multiple teams.
The hiring range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
