Leads and mentors in the design, development, and maintenance of multi-tiered business applications focused on automating business processes using low-code platforms to enable rapid solution delivery. Individuals holding this position are typically expected to be thought leaders, in conjunction with product owners and solution architects, and lead product teams from a technical and delivery perspectives while also being able to deliver independently as a member of a team.

Incumbents have an existing or clear ability to quickly develop understanding of available technology landscape, tools, and design patterns in robotic process automation, business process management, workflow management, business rules engines, data extraction, process digitization, low code development platforms, and the like.

Incumbents must support quality efforts within the team, taking on the responsibilities to design and implement testing strategies, both automated and manual, required to deliver high quality maintainable solutions.

Incumbents play a lead role in building application solutions which may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools and must ensure that technologies used align with enterprise-wide technical architecture and ensure consistency across products.

This individual also participates fully in all team practices and standards. Interfaces with colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined complex business requirements and processes, assess available technologies, determine infrastructure, and recommend solution options.

Demonstrates personal accountability and ensures successful team outcomes by proactively identifying and mitigating delivery impediments, dependencies, and risks.


  • 5+ years of application development experience with large scale business applications in a fast-paced iterative development environment.
  • 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing business applications from business concept through production.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading business application development teams of 5+ team members.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming language like C#, Java, Python, experience with SQL, API development, automated testing, and experience building complex process flows using a visual design tool.
  • Industry certifications for relevant applications and/or functions preferred.
  • The ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches.
  • Knowledge of complementary technologies that can be leveraged to enhance the functionality of solutions to be developed.
  • The skills to design and document supportable and extensible developments and the ability to support and maintain the work of other solution designers, developers, and testers.
  • The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks.
  • The aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
  • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
  • An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
  • A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.


  • 4 Year College Degree/Bachelors preferred with a concentration in Computer Science or related field.
