The Staff Vice President Employee Experience (EX) will report directly to the Head of Culture and Employee Experience and manage the daily operations of DEI, employee survey administration, program design and development. The role is also responsible for supporting strategy development and, where applicable, program implementation and management.

Specifically, the Staff VP will be involved in the development of EX strategy, rooted in the organization’s Future of Work vision, and objective setting and prioritization. The role will be responsible for the execution, management and measurement of programs managed solely by the department. S/He will be responsible for ensuring that EX objectives are reflected in the design and development of EX-driven programs in other departments.

The Staff Vice President Employee Experience is responsible for the contributing to the development of business cases to garner executive support for proposed programs and initiatives that will be designated as strategic corporate objectives. To this end, the role is responsible for data gathering to establish employee sentiment. Methods include, but are not limited to, surveys, data mining, etc.

Further, the Staff VP will be a member of the internal EX Task Force responsible for the planning and implementation of programs and projects that require cross-functional involvement for implementation, although execution and ongoing program management responsibility resides with a specific department (e.g., HR, Facilities, etc.)

Additionally, S/He is responsible for ensuring that diverse stakeholder perspectives, to include those of the FM Global DEI Forums, are solicited and considered in program design and development in a manner that fosters engagement, inclusivity and belonging across the global employee community.

Identification of relevant metrics and corresponding methods of measurement are the responsibility of the role. This requires cross-departmental cooperation and collaboration.

Map the end-to-end employee experience, distinguishing those of in-office, hybrid and remote employees

Define the most meaningful employee experiences, as defined by employees in the aggregate as well sub-groups x demographics

In partnership with internal stakeholders, identify the most impactful workplace and workforce trends relevant to FM Global that are projected to profoundly change the way in which work is performed and by whom over a three-year horizon

Establish practices and processes to ensure the consideration of diverse employee perspectives derived from FM Global Business Resource Groups and research in the design of program design and investment strategies

In partnership with key stakeholder groups, develop prioritized recommendations for employee experience investment, to include technology as well as programs development

Define and establish relevant metrics, strategies for measurement and reporting


The successful candidate must possess a passion for people with proven experience in developing and implementing a wide variety of programs that have a material impact on their company’s commitment to develop and engage a global workforce. S/He must have demonstrated the ability to create and execute effective organizational strategies and transformations on a large scale, apply a deep understanding and expertise of employee engagement, knowledge of global DEI trends, the ability to build coalitions that are passionate about the employee experience, and collaborate with Senior Management and Executive Leadership. This must be paired with organizational savvy and analytical skills that leverage metrics to inform, influence and educate a wide range of audiences. This individual must be results oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects in a demanding, fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in HR or business preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in client and/or employee experience
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience
  • 3+ years of indirect leadership experience (leadership without formal authority)
  • Demonstrated results building and sustaining complex cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated results building creative inter-disciplinary strategies, inclusive of technological objectives, for the purpose of improving the client or employee experience
  • Experience with stakeholder management, program design/management, and change management; Project and/or Program Management certification or training strongly preferred
  • Experience thinking creatively and prototyping new ideas
  • Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience navigating a fast paced, dynamic working environment
  • Demonstrated track record of successful problem solving
  • Ability to do 30% Domestic and International travel required
