The Manager, University Relations & Field Recruitment is responsible for developing and executing FM Global’s University Relations (UR) strategy globally, including activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and on-boarding of intern/co-op and entry-level talent. This role will provide direction and counsel to all operations roles who are responsible for implementing these UR programs, to ensure implementations are consistent and meet the overall university recruiting plan goals. This role will also be responsible for the day to day management of the corporate UR Senior Staffing Specialist responsible for executing the corporate UR strategy and the Senior Staffing Specialist responsible for the delivery of engineering recruitment services for both entry level and experienced hires to the U.S. and Canada operations.


Prior experience developing and implementing a university relations recruiting program inclusive of internships / co-op’s and new graduates required
Prior UR or experienced recruiting team management experience preferred
Strong project management skills and customer focus
Proven ability to deliver results with a high sense of urgency and accuracy
Analytical and able to obtain data driven insights to provide recommendations to continually evolve the function
Proficient Microsoft office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required
Experience with applicant tracking systems required, Workday a plus
Prior experience utilizing social media in recruitment efforts
Excellent interpersonal skills and presence, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including executives
Collaborative work style that can influence positive change
Proven ability to multi-task, own, and drive processes and programs to completion with minimal supervision
The ability to think proactively and independently to get work done
Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external business relationships
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel approximately 20%
