Overview:

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing marketing and communications support for the Innovation and Engineering Divisions and is a key contributor to developing and executing internal and external marketing and communications strategies. This includes working with business stakeholders to develop and implement effective, pointed communications to both internal and external audiences. Particular skills required to be successful are:

- The ability to quickly get a strong grasp of all the products and services in each division, and the added value they deliver to key audiences.

- Having excellent writing, presentation and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas in a concise and persuasive manner.

- Demonstrable familiarity and skills with all aspects of the marketing discipline, particularly marketing best practices regarding web analytics, newsletter engagement, and CRM applications.

- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to network within the organization and lead/influence project teams.

- Must be comfortable working with Senior management on a regular basis and the responsibilities and accountabilities that this brings.

- Self starter, and comfortable working with minimal supervision whilst managing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. MBA, CPCU or other industry designation a plus; insurance industry experience preferred by not required
  • 5-7 years as a Product Manager
  • Demonstrable skills as a marketing communications specialist/product manager with relevant marketing experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Proficient writing, presentation and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas in a concise and persuasive manner.
  • Demonstrable interest and familiarity with aspects of the marketing discipline, particularly marketing best practices regarding web analytics, newsletter engagement, and CRM applications.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to network within the organization and lead/influence project teams.
  • Must be comfortable working with senior management on a regular basis and the responsibilities and accountabilities that this brings.
  • Self-starter and comfortable working with minimal supervision while managing projects.
