Responsibilities:

This Risk Management Associate reports directly to the Corporate Risk Manager. Under minimal direct supervision, this position is responsible for running the global insurance programs on a worldwide basis. Responsibilities include identifying and leading cost effective and best practice risk transfer solutions. Additionally, providing analytical reports for such programs to the Corporate Risk Manager. This position will also handle the fleet safety, property loss control and casualty claims processes.

Candidate should possess good analytical and inter-personal communication skills. Candidate should have strong decision-making skills, can work independently, be able to multi-task and handle confidential information.

This role will need strong writing skills. Experience in using Excel (or Access) databases (or data analytics) to collect and evaluate data is preferred.

Manages the corporate insurance program and possesses good knowledge of policy types and coverages. Duties include pre-renewal strategy meetings with brokers, collection and submission of underwriting data, and summary reporting of program analytics to the Corporate Risk Manager. This position should ensure that all policies are at least annually evaluated for coverages that are consistent with market-best current offerings and best practices. This position is responsible for handling the electronic records for the global property and casualty insurance program, including historical data including such as proposals, binders, policies, endorsements, and premiums. Assists in review of insurance and risk management programs for effectiveness of coverage and cost.

Acts as the liaison between the organization and external and internal partners (e.g. managers, claims adjusters, attorneys) to manage claims associated with the corporate workers' compensation, general liability and auto liability policies. Provides guidance and support to global offices for claims in these areas. Partners with other departments (e.g. Human Resources) to develop and support loss control progress (e.g. return to work program).

Responsible for managing the online fleet safety product. Provides reports to Corporate Risk Manager summarizing accident and driver safety analytics such as number of accidents, type of accidents, fault, and changes in driver risk levels. Works with Treasury function to monitor and report on cost of fleet auto repairs/replacement rentals.

Responsible for ensuring various schedules always remain updated. Schedules include named insureds, business entities, auto fleet, property locations, schedule of insurance. Holds monthly open items meetings with property and casualty (P&C) insurance broker(s). Assists (P&C) insurance broker(s) with certificate of insurance and automobile ID requests.

Works in partnership with Hobbs Brook Management (HBM) and FM Global operations to identify and establish loss control solutions to location-specific property recommendations for FM Global and HBM occupancies. Report to manager recommendations’ status on a regular basis and call out material issues for manager approval

Assists with various assignments to support the physical security and travel risk management programs.

Responsibilities will also include certain project specific assignments related corporate crisis management functions. This includes travel risk management and physical security.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree Risk management degree, finance degree or advanced risk management certification required! (e.g. ARM, CPCU or CRM).

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required in field of corporate property and casualty insurance and/or risk management
