The location for this position will be FM Global's corporate headquarters facilit located in Johnston, Rhode Island.
Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Services Division has an immediate opening for a Senior Administrative Assistant. Under minimum supervision, the incumbent works independently using considerable judgment and initiative in providing a wide variety of administrative support services to the Business Administrative Manager (BAM) – Enterprise Services. This role requires someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can communicate clearly with various levels of the management teams and employees. Responsibilities
- Anticipates and prepares materials needed by the management team for conferences, correspondences, appointments, meetings and calls. Schedules appointments for a global team and arranges travel schedules and reservations.
- Handles a broad wide range of administrative tasks under general supervision (e.g., expense reports, invoices, purchasing supplies, files and records).
- Assists with planning events and/or meetings and other projects as assigned.
- Handles administrative details, usually of a confidential nature, in support of the management team; uses considerable judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
- Uses a suite of office applications to prepare moderately complex reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Assembles meeting materials, including distribution to participants.
- Assists the division with adhoc projects, as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
- Superior technical skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Must be discrete and able to handle confidential information.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of administrative experience supporting a work group and/or managers.
- High School diploma; some college preferred!
The hiring range for this position is $48,000 to $77,300. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
