The Sr. Event Planner manages best-in-class event experiences that advance FM Global’s KRAs and Corporate and Operations objectives as part of integrated marketing campaigns. They are responsible for internal, hosted, and industry events around the globe. This is including face-to- face, hybrid, and virtual events. They are responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external sourcing and logistics partners to ensure successful execution.

The Senior Event Planner contributes to and delivers on the Event Strategy brief. They will be working with event business owners and marketing colleagues to execute on agreed Event plans.

They provide event management expertise in pre-planning meetings to include attendee management, all logistics surrounding events, budgeting, and execution whether on site or via virtual facilitation and follow up and post event reconciliation. This includes pre meetings with hosts and stakeholders, communications, registration of attendees, hotel and venue sourcing selection and negotiations. As well as, food and beverage provisioning, meeting room set-ups, on-site management, hosted events at FM Global properties, gifts, transportation, and coordination of third parties. This also includes in-person or virtual execution and post-event survey management.


  • 5 years minimum experience managing corporate meetings and events of all sizes and complexities (tradeshow experience a plus). Extensive experience working with senior executives is required.
  • Meeting content development experience in the tactical and logistical framework, hospitality industry required to manage hotel arrangements, 3rd parties and ancillary services worldwide.
  • A good working knowledge and experience with Cvent is required along with a working knowledge of virtual meeting platforms used internally such as Teams, Zoom, and preferably a web hosting platform such as ON24 is a plus.
  • College degree and CMP preferred but not required. Tangible and measurable corporate event planning experience is necessary with no exception!
  •  This position requires some travel and outside of the norm working hours while planning and on-site execution. A great teammate with a positive demeanor and communication skills are a must for success in this position.
