This position in the Infrastructure Operations & Support team is primarily responsible for providing Senior level messaging administration/support along with assisting with Windows Server environment administration on an as needed basis. Job functions include support of the global Microsoft Office 365 Exchange hybrid email environment including public folders, anti-spam and email security solutions. The candidate will work closely with the end point infrastructure and infrastructure security teams in delivering secure solutions on a worldwide basis. For the Windows Server environment support, responsibilities include maintaining both Windows physical and virtual servers running 2012 and 2016 Operating Systems. Specific responsibilities could include software/hardware upgrades, vulnerability patching, data protection, performance monitoring/reporting and security compliance activities This role includes rotating on-call and disaster recovery support.
- BA Information Technology or a related field preferred
- 5+ years supporting MS Exchange Online, 2016, 2013 in an Enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Exchange/Office 365, Azure AD and other messaging technologies
- Demonstrated experience with Windows Server Operating systems – 2012 & 2016
- Strong understanding with Windows Server Technologies (VMWare)
- Experience with supporting Outlook, OWA and mobile messaging
- Knowledge in email whitelisting/blacklisting and spam filtering
- Microsoft security & compliance as well as eDiscovery
- Solid working knowledge of anti-virus software, disaster recovery technologies
- Project management experience preferred
- PowerShell scripting skills strongly preferred
- MS Certifications preferred
The successful candidate will be required to work with end-users directly and must effectively communicate technical concepts across all levels of the FM Global organization. The candidate must demonstrate a track record of strong customer service skills, initiative/ownership, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates must also possess the ability to work in a team and have the capability to deal with changes in a fast-paced environment.
