Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and managing FM Global’s external communications strategy in alignment with business strategy and in consideration of organizational climate. Leads a team responsible for designing and executing marketing communication plans and content, including leading effective execution of marketing campaigns and overseeing global Public Relations, Content marketing, and Recruitment marketing. Provides strategic counsel to the CEO and senior leaders on external communications approach. Leads external executive communications with a focus on the CEO.

• Directs and oversees the design and implementation of a coordinated,
global, enterprise-wide external communications strategy across all
audiences and is accountable for overall effectiveness. Provides strategic
input on global communications and ensures consistency in messaging,
branding and priorities.

• Responsible for external communications strategy and development
across all external audiences and stakeholders (clients, prospects,
partners, candidates, etc) in collaboration with key partners in
Marketing,and across the organization. Leads a centralized team
responsible for creating, managing, and implementing marketing, public
relations, executive communications, and brand communications content.

• Provides governance and consultation to senior executives, in particular
the CEO, by implementing and evolving communications tools, processes,
templates and guidelines.


• Oversees the selection of global vendors, agencies and critical
partnerships to ensure external communications are purpose driven, led
by a consistent narrative and clear principles and adopted to different
stakeholders, markets and cultures.

• Manages budgets to ensure strategic plans are executed effectively


• Accountable for ensuring that FM Global’s external communications
channels meet evolving business needs globally and delivers a best-in class client and partner experience, working in collaboration with colleagues across Marketing, Technology Product, Data Analytics, and others.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree required, Graduate degree preferred

15+ Demonstrated experience leading global programs in a multinational organization

Direct engagement with and support for the C-suite,
including the CEO

Experience leading change, preferably in a large, legacy organization

Experience driving transformation through people, process and technology

A collaborative mindset and experience implementing agile and innovation principles

Trusted advisor, change agent, collaborative consultant, and empathetic leader

Strategic, objectives-driven planning, budgeting, and prioritization

Strong written/oral communications and engaging presence when messaging, positioning, and driving change management

Executive communications strategy and execution, advising and supporting the CEO -Building an employer brand and activating it through recruitment marketing

Public relations, including owned and earned channels -Content marketing and global omnichannel marketing campaigns driven by data and insights

The hiring range for this position is $172,400 to $247,800. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM Global’s comprehensive Total Rewards program that includes an incentive plan, generous health and well-being programs, a 401(k) and pension plan, career development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, flexible work, time off allowances and much more.
