FM Global is looking for an Client Services Intern to join the Los Angeles office. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide underwriting support for a dynamic team, helping to service our clients.


Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for providing underwriting and client service support to the FM Global Los Angeles Client Service teams, working closely with both internal and external customers.

Key accountabilities support teams by preparing information for review and providing excellent and adaptable service that adds new value to our clients.

The ideal candidate will work to develop a basic understanding of our products and services and aid the account managers in servicing their clients.

An Underwriting Intern is a strong teammate who will be working alongside internal customers and other colleagues. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, good judgment, and decision-making skills in all areas of accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Computer / Technology proficient, with advanced Excel proficiency
  • Working toward a degree in business administration, risk management, engineering, or insurance with a strong curiosity about this field of work
  • Potential ability to establish a network of industry contacts
