Overview:
Mutual Boiler Re is a division of FM Global and has been providing boiler and machinery insurance in North America for more than 130 years. Mutual Boiler Re specializes in providing Equipment Breakdown reinsurance and related services to insurance companies throughout North America. Our products are developed in partnership with primary insurance companies, reinsurance intermediaries and agents/brokers.
Responsibilities:
Mutual Boiler Re is currently seeking a claims intern for our Malvern, PA headquarters! This position provides administrative support for maintaining the loss process of Mutual Boiler Re, including preparation and distribution of reports and projects. This position is also responsible for ensuring accurate maintenance and data quality of claim records, providing phone support coverage during MBRe’s normal hours of operation, and providing support for the claims staff.

- Computer skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Organizational and communication skills required!
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and follow-up.
- Ability to operate modern office machines and equipment.
- Knowledge of various software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
The hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
