Responsibilities:
In this position you will support the initiatives as specified by the Quality Assurance group. This may include the following responsibilities:
Assist the Accreditation Manager and Vice President of Quality in fulfilling accreditation activities.
Support in the maintenance of the FM Approvals Quality Management System as required by accreditation programs such as ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, OSHA NRTL, etc.
Support internal and external audit activities in support of the QMS and technical areas in accordance with accreditation requirements.
Participate in continual improvement activities that support compliance and increase efficiency in the organization.
Assist in the resolution of FM Approved related product issues as reported to FM Approvals by internal and external sources.
Qualifications:
- BS plus 7 years working in a Quality Assurance function or related experience.
- A technical degree in a relevant engineering program, or other related field is required.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, accreditations and quality management systems is preferred!
- The successful candidate should have demonstrated project management skills, superior written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency with programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- High level of technical capability
- Strong analytical/problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Technical writing experience helpful
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
The hiring range for this position is $91,400 to $114,200 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
